Flora and Fauna of My Local Area
Aim:
The aim of this project was to identify and study the common flora and fauna found in my local area.
Objectives
To observe different plants and animals around my locality
To identify common flora and fauna
To understand their importance in the ecosystem
To create awareness about conserving local biodiversity
Tools:
Notebook, Pen/Pencil, Mobile phone (for observation and reference), Local guide/books
Procedure:
The project was carried out by observing the surroundings such as home garden, roadside areas, fields, and nearby open places. Common plants and animals were carefully observed during morning and evening hours. The names of plants and animals were noted down. Information about them was collected from textbooks, elders, and reference books. The collected data was then organized and analyzed.

Conclusion:
From this project, it was
concluded that my local area has a rich variety of flora and fauna. Plants and
animals play an important role in maintaining ecological balance. Protecting
local biodiversity is necessary for a healthy environment. Awareness among
people can help in conserving flora and fauna.
